Be interesting to see the stringer of 10 black crappie. Up here theres a 6 week crappie/walleye women's fish donkey tournament ending 1/31 and the two leaders have been swapping 1st and 2nd place steadily this morning stringer of 10 1st is 152” 2nd 151.25”
I plan to enter it also. I'm hoping he has another tournament as well after these dates. I think it's where the competitive fishing industry is headed in the near future
I've known Walt (as I like to call him) since the early days of Crappie.com. He is hands down one of the hardest working men I know in the Crappie fishing industry, except of course for "The Roj". But Rojo is not necessarily "in the Crappie fishing industry", he's just a Crappie fisherman, and a good one at that! Anywho, as the story goes, Walt just called me up out of the blue, and we'd chat. He didn't want anything from me except to chat. Being born in Chicago, I trusted no-one, so I did not quite understand this ole country boy. But as the years went by, he'd just call me, and we'd chat about fishing and such. He's just a good, hard working guy. I give him a ton of credit for working as hard as he does for so long. He drives over 80k miles per year, every year, to events and sponsors, and other Crappie fishing related activities. That's unreal. Yep Roj, I too believe Walt "is the Best".Quote:
