Blizzard this afternoon.lol. We haven’t had one since late Friday through Saturday morning,then it was nice late Saturday early this morning,now we’re in another one until 9pm lol. 1 degree N wind 38 G 43 -30 windshield…
Planned on an over nighter at the fishing shanty this weekend but Mother Nature decided otherwise;) Oh well theres always next weekend.
Off and on Flurries for 2 days, and bitter cold for here. Started at 4 degrees mean air this morning but unto 35* right now and headed south again...
They called for snow here but so far nothing but some rain.
No snow thankfully, just colder than a polar bear
1 below with wind chill of 14 below, here in NC Minnesota. Left to head to Sioux Falls this morning but turned around because of the near blizzard conditions.
Yea I see I29 from Fargo to Grand Forks is now open but still closed from Grand Forks to Canada….Quote:

When I was traveling the country calling on Gun Shop & Sporting Goods Stores I traveled all across everyone's states posted and more. I would leave the vehicle at whatever airport I was close to and fly home for the weekend. The car would stay out for months before I worked it back home. So understand this, I grew up in New Orleans and when y'all got hit with the snow and ice like now I just went in a different direction. Nothing but Respect here for how Y'all can live and especially Drive in that mess. Stay Warm!
My first Permanent Party assignment after AIT was Germany. 1st infantry FWD Headquarters in Goppingen, between Stuttgart and Muchin, (Munich). I thought I could drive about anything till then. Snow packed ice, 2-1/2 ton truck and a 500 gallon water trailer with a mind of it's own. slicker than owl doo doo. Got out of the service and swore I wouldn't live above I-40, because I had enough of the snow. Then realized It snows everywhere, even Laredo...so here I am in the vast frozen mess every winter. Currently 14* feeling like 2*. heat bill through the roof trying to keep the trailer house at 70*...I don't know how you all manage further up north. My hats off to ya...Quote:
