USPS Shipping
Can USPS shipping get any worse?
Their tracking is almost useless, I have had an item delivered when tracking said it was two states away.
Items sit in distribution centers for days at a time.
The Birmingham distribution center is where packages go to die.
Had an ACC crappie rod sitting 30 minutes from my house for three days :banghead

Yeah it's been bad here too for a long time.

Most recent for me was a set of decals for my dump trailer that I repainted took almost 2 months to get from the east coast to Michigan.

Here’s a good one for you guys, but drop off to UPS if you set packages outside of the box here they will not pick them up. They will either get rained on a rock to cardboard off. Icing boxes is wide opened with the merchandise side sitting there for anybody to pick up and they may sit there for weeks, but they will not pick them up unless you put them inside the drop off box.

Most stuff I get through them has to pass through Memphis. That’s when I hold my breath hoping it’ll make it.

I have a small business and order regularly ...... you should see some of the tracking numbers I saved in the last couple years ..... some are so bad they are funny!

A few years ago I was sent rods from a company in Oklahoma. Twice the cardboard tube was broken . Third try was sent in a pvc pipe. Owner told me if this failed he would hand deliver next try.

I've had horrendous service from USPS over the years.

I ship up to 100 orders per week imagine all the e mails, text and phone calls i get near every day with folks wanting to know where their packages are usps has completely dropped the ball with timely deliveries i will say they usually get it there but it can take up to 2 weeks.....i still send replacements or refunds on 6 or more orders per month that just disappear without a trace and they make it virtually impossible to get reimbursed gonna have to do a better job or they are going to run some of us small guys out of business.I do ship ups when feasible but on some of the smaller orders it has to go usps or shipping would be more than the item being shipped they have put us between a rock and a hard place.

I must live in the most delivery friendly location on the planet. I've never had any serious issues with any of the big three, USPS, UPS and Fedex. There has been an occasional confusing routing issue that added a couple of unnecessary days to the delivery time. But that is the worst I've experienced and pretty infrequently. USPS has actually been the best of the three. I've had stuff get here to SC from the left coast in three days.
