Has anyone done the updates for their helix series finders? I'm due for one and I see people on fakebook say nay and people say yay. I've never done it and the unit works fine so I don't see the point but I also don't want to miss out on anything if it helps performance with it.
Over on the BBC Humminbird sonar forum, there is a sticky at the top with what each update has addressed. Personally, I don't update unless I'm having a problem but I'm not a power user with lots of add-ons.
When I have updated, luckily I have had no issues but that is not the story for lots of other folks.
