We have all experienced how often crappie can change their preferred color. Sometimes hourly. I believe that the biggest factor in that is sun angle affecting light penetration. That factor is part of the concept of the Spike-It. I still have the original version called color-c-lector. I have not tried it on crappie, but the first half of my life was bass fishing including tournaments and I can tell you that its principle does work (sometimes).
So... how many of you use, or believe in, the possibility of this product being an asset in crappie fishing? :dono
