Winter livescoping
It's my favorite time of the year for quality. Have to stay on the trolling motor until you find a school, here they are mostly suspended over the channels and sometimes hard to bite but not always. Water temp 51. Scott

Here on Jackson consider12"-13" to be good they will be close but just under a lb. Ones in my 2 mugshots pics were 15" just under 2 lbs. One thing I've noticed thats interesting in that I can almost always tell on a school by how they are grouped if they are going to be hard to catch. If the school is oblong and they are TITE in the school, but to cheek, they don't want to come out and play, but if they are looser in the school and more horizontaly suspended those fish will bite.
