Jourdan River Tacos Day Before Yesterday

I'm doing so many projects right now I show up late to my own work days. Right before kicking off the latest blistering pace of work the Jourdan needed a visit.

I found just a few Black Crappie congregated on trees in deep water. All were females. Micro jigs tagged all these fish, the Micro plastics came from Jason's Jigs on Ebay. Natural colors worked best in the clear water. I caught a few ditch pickles at the same time. Eating won't be a problem as I just picked up fresh soft taco tortillas.

Mmmm, those will be good tacos. Glad you prioritized crappie fishing. You gotta do what ya gotta do. :highfive

Nice catch my friend. Miss scouting out fish there. May cross the state line in next few weeks and see if I can’t locate some over there. Will update if I do.

What brand of cooler is that ? And why does it have a place to lock it up? Sorry sometimes the secondary things just jump out at me. Good job and I hope the itch was scratched.

Walmart was closing them out for $90. It's super lite, keeps ice almost as long as a Yeti, I bought this cooler for my Tin boat as the colors are close but I really like it.
