I fished the back slough across the road from the boat harbor this morning keeping a dozen and returning several dozen short Crappie. Shorts came off spider rigging while all the keepers came off jig and bobber. The water was 75 degrees at daylight and had warmed a degree or two by 11:00AM with visibility of around a foot. Lots of shad and tiny four-inch Crappie in the slough.
