It's a week late but...got out to smithville last Friday (09/19) trying to ruin all Bill's spots (unsuccessfully, by the way!!).

My sister was visiting from Wisconsin so she rode along just to watch me catch fish. I was afraid she wasn't gonna have anything to watch!!

But...managed a dozen or so, only 9 of which were keeper class.

3 @ 9.5"
2 @ 10"
2 @ 10.5"
1 @ 11"
1 @ 12"

Or thereabouts.

All relatively shallow.

All on jigs.

All from 9:15am to 12:30pm.

Relatively low wind made it so easy to use the LS and stay with 'em.

Gonna try it again tomorrow, I think.

Fish Tacos were the order of the day. Had a buncha leftovers, so they were in tortillas with eggs and cheese the next morning.

Think I might try some po' boys tomorrow if I catch any??
