I'd suggest giving Ed a call at southern crappie rods, made from carbon and kevlar, they are tough and very sensitive, https://southerncrappierods.com/
and very reasonably priced
I have a set of 8 14 ft Ozarks I would part with but I cant ship them. Need to be picked up around the Kentucky Lake area or west Tennessee
