WIND !

Why is it that once the weather starts to get comfortable enough to fish , the wind picks up .
Gusts today up to 28mph !

Been a weird weather year, too much rain and now no rain. Wind certainly played a part this year as well. 28 mph winds are good days to stay home.

I went out the front door , the other day and as soon as I got on the porch , the wind about took my ballcap off and , I told myself never mind , I ain't fighting this today :Rofl

It's been like this all year; I hope it is just a cycle and not the new normal.

I worked outside and noticed the wind was up. Good mowing weather.

I agree that the wind feels good when doing yard work and other activities besides fishing. We’ve had days where I was afraid to try bank fishing when I didn’t want to take my boat because my lure could catch wind and blow back into my face. [emoji1787]

28 mph wind at your back and you can launch some baits for distance. Other than that why bother.
