I'm back in Texas. I rented a slip at Duck Cove Marina on Lake Tawakoni. Anybody have any tips on where and how to catch crappie on this lake? I have always heard this was a great crappie lake but have never fished it. So I decided to try it for a few months.

During the summer I always fish the two mile bridge for crappie. It always holds fish and the bridge protects you from the heat. Just a word of caution, don't go running wide open on that lake because their below the surface stumps everywhere. Also the lake has some very long shallow points on it. I learned how to fish on Tawakoni back in the mid 70's.
