Will it pa ir good with my BnM tcb rod?
I have a tss, the predecessor to the TCB and it works very well with the 2000s Daiwa regal I have on it. Mine is a casting machine.
I have 2 TCB rods with the 2023 legalis (jdm version size 2000) on each. It’s a nice combo that also matches in color really well.

That's the ones that I'm thinking about on DIDITAKA FOR 81.00
Yes, that's an excellent pairing!
I have a Legalis LT2000s-p (shallow spool) on my TCB and haven't switched the reel on the rod since I first tried it out. The rod is beefier than all of my other ULs, making it well-suited to the slightly larger reel. Line I currently have on is 4lb. XBraid Finesse with a 4lb. Trout SOS leader. I may switch out the braid, however -- as much as I like the Xbraid Finesse, it's so delicate it frays when catching on tiny, tiny things...like rough skin on my fingers.
With that said, the rod/reel/light braid combo casts like a dream and is pretty sensitive. I can sling 1/64oz jigs 50 feet or so if there isn't any wind. The rod can handle larger fish, too, and gives me more muscle vs. other ULs and XULs. Overall, it's a mainstay in my kayak.
That's great news thank you. I like both my rods TCB and TSS.
Same with mine Frank. I can throw the light stuff but usually gets a little heavier duty and doesn’t complain. Great beetle spin rod.
The Legalis 1000D also pairs up with the TCB very nicely. 2 lb test on small streams/creeks it is a pleasure to cast and fish.

Just a word of thanks to all who responded to this post your input really helped. My reel is on the way.
I got my diawa lt2000s today it's the smoothest feel I've ever turned a handle on. I think it's going to be a pleasure to use.
