Like the title says, how do you get a doubled over mainline through such a teeny tiny 1/64th jig head eyelet to perform a palomar knot?

I don’t try feeding the double line through. I feed a single line through the eye first and then pass it back through the eye. I find it easier this way.

SuperDave explains the easiest way to tie the palomar up in his post. I do the same as he does on something that small. Rarely though do I use a palomar on a jig. Normally with jigs I tie a loop knot to give the jig some freedom to move and hang better in the water.
loop knot for the win , the rest of them knots out there are for SURE wasting time
After DWILL’s suggestion of trying a loop knot instead of a palomar, I stumbled upon the surgeon’s loop and that is the way I will be tying my jigs from now on.

I go through the eye twice tying a "trilene" knot. I use it on everything and has worked well for me.
I like using Sufix Pro mono line with that knot.
