Weekly meetup 6-23-25
We picked today because it was the coolest day of the week . Low 90’s with light wind until after 2:00 . Then we got a little air movement to help out with the heat .
We’re picking our spots now with whatever areas have a little shade.
Our goal each time we go is to catch numbers . We target whatever we can catch , no matter species or size .
Today was definitely a numbers day . Most of the gills were in the 4-6” range .
My fishing buddy using 2# Ande line and a couple of my micro jigs landed 44 fish , mostly gills , with a few small bass .
I ended up landing 52 .
I used a couple of combos today , but most were caught on my 4’10” Major Craft Finetail Glass rod , paired with a Soare bb500spg and 2# Ande line .
It was a hot and humid day , but fun was had and fish were caught .
A fun day with a good friend .
We fished about four hours , about our limit now days.,

Those are good numbers for me. I got about that many today and found another 200’ of beds. I’m also sure I’m not the only one that’s found them. Busy area for the fish. Some four inch bass too. Saw a few a pound and better so there’s hope. Hope you get out soon and drink a water along the way. Gotta hydrate before you need it.

Great numbers with some pretty fish. Seems your bud's numbers went way up when he used your ties. Better make some extras.
