My sons crew gotrdone!

My son and his crew came out to LSL to do a little fishing. Nick who caught some up north with us but struggled a little and his wife wanted crappie and my son needed to restock catfish fillets as he had given bymo some for a elderly lady friend of his wife. not a ton of structure in our lake but they had noticed some brush before and anchored next to it with my pontoon.

Nick and his wife got into the crappie in middle of day blazing sun by dipping around and ended up with 20 really nice ones including a 14 incher. my son and his room mate caught several really nice kitties so a good time was had by all. Crappie were caught on jigs and nibbles. Kitties on hot dogs with strawberry jello and garlic mix.

Nice slab crappie with plenty eater size. Kitty fish are a bonus, bigger tugs are the drug we want. I stepped out this morning for a minute and said "Not today" in this heat and humidity. Good to see somebody whacking them.

I had plans to head to LSL this am to hook up with a couple of buddies to polish the toon's furniture to get mold off and to have Turkey Tom work on my fish finder to finally get to use it after couple of years. BUT this humidity kicked my tail after working with my tomatoes in garden yesterday. Especially with major weight loss, which I nor my wife can afford, really doesn't take much to wear me out.

So I called the boys and said another time. Besides my son and his guys like to go out on my toon and ketch fish. when they are after kitties they throw their lines out and then just sit around. THEY can use my product and take care of my boat. Price of admission.

BTW Jim went by your lake in Fenton. looked great but not a soul on it. weather cools down a bit we will have to go there and ketchm.

Now that's a mess of fishes....
