Cumberland...
Ran a tank of gas out looking for fish on the dam end of Cumberland. Otter Creek. Indian Creek, Bever Creek, many coves, etc, etc.
Didnt even find any gill beds on side scan. Lake was really high 78 deg water..
Any idea where the crappie and gills might be in that lake? Did find a lot of really big returns in 30' to 40', probally stripers or cats. Saw a lot of gar in shallow water as well.
Cumberland has always been a hard lake for me and I fish it alot

Darn, tough conditions. Good job getting out and searching and enjoying the day.

I’m headed there in a few days to troll. I’ll keep you posted…

It came up 6 feet in the last week. My buddy & his father in law caught them good Thursday in brush in the back of a creek.

I've been told by a couple fellows i know that they're fishing minnows under floating lights at night & wearing the crappie out on Cumberland.

Thanks for the advice. I don’t fish at night anymore but the daytime bite has been brutal.
