I believe in color changes too and I have seen with my eyes the results of that magic color.

it really cracks me up when I see supposedly good guides who fish for a living claiming " of course color don't matter" on their video's when we all have seen times that when you change to something totally different bite suddenly turns on. As you point out varying your presentation whether in moving jig swimming or gradually rising or falling can trigger bites when stationary didn't getrdone.
Lots of varibles that will work one day but not the next.
