I would check connections first (if you haven't already). Then I would make sure the transducer is chosen in the settings. (even if you didn't change it things happen and settings get changed on accident) If those don't work time to inspect transducer and chord for damage. Are your units networked? If so check to see if the transducer might read upfront. This is just a few things I can think of to try. Keep s updated on what you find. Also if your units stay hooked up all the time try unplugging them and reconnecting.
I checked the connection and everything looks ok , I am pretty sure it is something with the unit , I have a new transducer from the unit for my live scope still in the box . I hooked it up and got the same error.
I hate that for you. I mentioned above, about the settings. Does it show that you have the transducer selected? I run Lowrance and have deselected mine before on accident. Not sure if Garmin defaults to the ducer that is hooked to the unit, but it's worth a shot. If it's not that I'm out of ideas and sorry I couldn't help.
I would try to reset to factory defaults if you haven't already. Also, check to make sure that you have undated your unit to current upgrades. Good luck.

The op hasn't been back since he last posted but wanted to tell him to check and make sure he didn't bend over any of the pins when connecting the transducer to the unit.
