A few Bluegills and Redears...

My buddy and I went to a private pond last week and the owner said keep all the bream you catch because he wants them thinned out.
A few worms and crickets later (8:30-11:45) we ended up with a mess of gills and redears.
Caught them on worms and some on crickets, some under a bobber and some with a drop shot rig with a hand tied mini wooly bugger with a tiny piece of worm added. We had a blast and now have a few good meals of bream to enjoy.

I could stand some of that. Nice looking take there, too many for me to clean.

Yep..I was plum tuckered out by the time I got them all cleaned, vacuum sealed and put into the freezer...but I have a few bags of fillets and some whole fish in the reserve now.
