has anyone else noticed that the crappie still have eggs in them? I don't know if the flooding ruined the spawn but last week the water was well into the 70s now its back down to 69 or so where I am still I caught crappie today with eggs in them. haven't seen very many dark colored fish this yr like usually when they spawn? any ideas of what's going on

All females I caught in the last 2 weeks have spawned out around the Big and West Sandy area. The ones that still have eggs are probably absorbing them. They probably released some or most anyway. I have noticed when catching fish in mid to late May if they do have eggs, it's usually a small sack. IMO we had a great spawn this year

That's awesome man I fish some around west big sandy but mostly fish north of the paris landing bridge. Off topic but have you ever fished that water on the other side of west big sandy where that water pump and leeve are?

I have. I use to fish it often, but haven't done it in few years. It has some incredible size bluegill and redear in it. Good crappie also
