Just getting used to the new boat. It’s a 2012 stinger175. When I load it the nose of the boat wants to hit the roller at the winch instead of going on to it. And unloading it the nose drops off the roller. It’s a Lowe trailer that came with the boat. Am I doing something wrong or is there some adjusting that I could do for it.
Do you have any pictures to share?
Seems like maybe your trailer is too deep? Make sure the bunks aren't completely submerged in the water.

I back my trailer in (to load) until the rear guide-ons are just peaking above the surface. But, I replaced my roller with the Grotto Automatic Boat Latch a couple of years ago and no longer have any "drop off" problems.
Years ago, and with another boat, I did have to raise the bunks back up a scootch. I was having a similar loading problem & upon inspection noticed the forward bolts had been pushed down the mount slot a bit. You could see the scrape marks where the bolt & washer met the mount. I attributed it to many years of power loading my 15' boat with the 70hp outboard.
Is the trailer sitting level when hitched up, or is it angled upward towards the truck? Leveling the trailer or having it pointed slightly downward does help some. As others mentioned, it is possible that you have the trailer in the water too deep.
I think your trailer may be too deep, also trim your motor up and the bow will raise when you give it throttle.
Like mentioned pictures would help a lot. Can the roller at the winch be lowered?
Thanks for the replies. I’ll try to get some pictures. After looking it over I must have been to deep when loading. It sits good on the trailer out of the water. There is nothing I can see to adjust except bunk height and they are up. I’ve had a couple other boats that never had this happening and I backed the trailers in the same distance. The Lowe must have to be out of the water more than I’m thinking
I have the similar model boat, but I have a Lowe 195 stinger. And I load the boat with the top of the fenders sticking out of the water. I also dunk the trailer to make sure the bunks are all the way wet then pull back up the ramp just a little bit till my fender tops are out of the water about 2 inches and then I can glide on and power it on with the motor trimmed up a bit until it touches the roller and then I can get down off of it and wind it up the rest of the three or 4 inches. if the boat trailer is too deep, your angle of attack will be too shallow on the boat to the trailer, and the trailer will want to nose under the roller when you’re loading.

Took the boat out today. Trailer just to deep in the water before. Had 4-6” of fenders out of the water which surprised me but it went on the trailer perfect. Thanks for the help.
