Major Craft Aji-Do S622L
Caught this nice bass during a 20 minute break I took while "working". I quickly caught 2 8-9" bluegills and then this bass. The weeds aren't up yet so just open water. I did have to persuade him over to the dock to hand land him as the area I hooked him in was not accessible from shore. and of course I had not brought a net. To be honest I was a little surprised I was able to land him with the 1.5# ester, he had jumped a few times and had a couple of short runs. I prefer the Major Craft Light Game ester in 2lb test but was out and spooled up with 1.5lb until I get more 2lb. Major Craft is my preferred ester fishing line, supple, easy to handle, super sensitive and easy to see because of it's yellow color, there is also more than 100m on a filler spool.

Congrats on landing your bass . Nice combo too . I have the 5’ and 5’8” Aji Do .
Since I fish primarily from either the bank or docks , landing fish is the hardest part of the battle.
If I can I prefer to beach them , simply slide them up on a boat ramp if available.
I own a couple of folding nets , but haven’t figured out a handy way to carry one yet .

Thanks. Well, I thought I had a solution to that problem. I purchased a Tailwalk extendable net handle, the Tailwalk catch bar Super Micro 210. I also bought a foldable shaft arm and a Guru net. Problem is the shaft arm fits the handle but the net threats are a fine thread and not anything which is common in the States. it would be perfect for use either on the boat, kayak, shore or wading, but I have yet to find an adapter that fits the threads on the net.

Nice fish and a real nice combo. If I wasn’t covered in rods for my available space I’d be looking up an Aji do. Lots of choices. I’m sure the bass was total fun! I love em that size on my little stuff.
