We been getting some the last few days , water is looking soiled a bit and rising .....
if you remember a while back , about 2 moths ago , I set a couple of bamboo condos in 2 boat slips ...
Not sure about who why or what , but I am for sure positive about the outcome ....
K A B O O M ! ! ! :Cowboy
them there crappie were all over the tops of them yesterday in the rain , no more than 3 foot down from the surface mind ya .....it's 8 fow and they are 4 or 5 foot tall ....and the crappie were on top of them ....
kept about 4 foot of line off the rod tip and drug it to and fro across the tops of the condos ....
boy howdy was that magic , ever hooked a big crappie with 4 foot of line on your 5.5 foot rod before ?
well to say the least you best be prepped for it , my thing is this with the large ones ....
if possible before they have a clue what just happened , GET THEM OUT OF THE WATER !
if or when I hook a big crappie , my ONLY agenda is too put it on a dry surface in the blink of an eye ....
a big crappie in the water is likely in lot's of cases to remain a big crappie in the water if you are not well prepped to remove said fishee from the water .....just saying
now mind ya this part , when they are that "green" ....
the fight will be to get your hands on it as it loses it's mind where it lands :Rofl
had a right frisky one escape the image episode yesterday , was in super jump and fight mode , had my hand on it for a second and then ....gone :banghead
saw a few minners playing a lil on the dock edge , but no crappie seemed to on the dock edges with them yesterday ....go figure :dono
AND >>>>
no crappie.com apparel involved yesterday ....my bad :Rofl
p.s. used a FOUR color jig yesterday , wonder why you say ....contrast my friends , LOTS of it for that less than clear water type stuff is good thing :highfive
