We had plans to go to the lower lake today but my son spent most of the night in ER with his back.
Well if fished 7 hours and managed 1 15 1/2 inch female and about 7 shorts and a white bass. I fished everywhere I knew to try. No one I spoke to had more than a couple. And I believe I may have been the only person on the lake without live scope.
All the facebook group's replies has been on the lower lake. Limits of 11" and bigger fish. A couple reported catching their limits in less than 2 hours.
Feels better and getting outdoors all I can to do a little yardwork at a time plus my son's back giving him problems has kept me from fishing.
I've been working on a project with my 2 youngest granddaughters. Needing a 410 shotgun my grandson drove me southeast toward Tupelo checking every pawn shop between Southaven and almost there. Found a Stevens 940A in rough shape for $60. Someone ballooned the barrel with a slug or few.
