I fished Forest Ingram in Cullman today and found Crappie on the beds. Males were in three to four feet of water with Females just off the beds in 6 to 8 feet of water. I kept a limit and returned a couple hundred. Many more 10-inch fish this year. All came off a jig and bobber set about 24 inches deep. The water was 64 degrees with visibility of about four feet.
Catch any of the larger whites?

Several 11 and 12 inch Black and White Crappie. Still lots of shorts, but probably tossed back a couple limits of 10 inch fish. Last year I might get a handful of 10 fish in a day. They must have found something to eat?
I'm off tomorrow so I'll probably try to go back.

Don’t catch them all before Friday. lol. Was planning on [emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji640]] mile but Ingram is so much easier. But they are normally easier to find at [emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji640]] mile.

All the females still had eggs. The eggs were grainy and bloody, so they'll drop in the next week.
Same bedding areas from the last couple years. Water is about as high as it can get so the fish seemed to be on the bank, but are actually in three to four feet of water. If a male didn't take on the bank a female would once you got out 15 or 20 feet. I passed over some of those areas on the way home and the females are stacked up about 6 to 8 feet down in 10 to 12 feet of water waiting to move in. The water just needs to raise a little bit. With it being 85 degrees today and sunny they may be spawning right now. Full moon on top of that, LOL!
