The crappie are hit and miss right now. One day you can get them and the next same place never get a bite. Brought home 9 today over 12 inches. All came from 12 feet deep.

Good job, but maybe the weather pattern, is affecting them.
thanks for the report
With the rain today lake should be close to 2 feet above normal. Nice chocolate color. Lot of debris everywhere.
Thanks for sharing your report. I imagine the rains aren’t helping with the bite…
Lake is 5 feet above normal. Only launch open is camp ground.
Yep, lots of people won't be happy. But it does happen at times. It's because of being a flood control lake. Just hoping that it won't get too high, like it did that one year. At least Pymatuming is also controlled by the Corp of Engineers too, which was the problem that time.
Lake is still very high very few spots to fish from shore. Fished the beach area this morning and 4 perch and 2 cats in 3 hours of fishing. Docks aren’t in yet as of yesterday.
The fish really turned on this morning. Crappie, perch, gills, white bass, smallmouth, and a Muskie all caught in 2 hours. 38 total fish and brought home 9 crappies over 12 inches. Fished from shore with bait 7 foot down. The males have moved into the shallows.
