I use these for bass fishing. Quick and easy lure changes.
Has anyone used the small ones for crappie jigs.
Same quick changes(for my marabou jigs, not plastic).
Seems they would also act as a loop knot.
Looking for opinions.

Only thing I've used them for is when casting crankbaits for Bass. They're also used on the main line of my jig Pushing rods, to attach to trolling sinkers (that don't have swivels) and then one on the other end of the trolling sinker to attach my leader line loop knot (for quick changes of leaders, should they get broken).
Otherwise, I'm not a fan of any extra hardware on my line. If I have a Crappie jig on the end of my line, it's tied directly to the line. I only ever use a loop knot for a jig when it's the top jig in a double jig rig (for Livescope Flippin').
But, that's just me. :)
I only used those once and it was enough for me at the time.... My problem was when I caught a fish the clip would somehow get the line entangled and also at times it would get wrapped around the jig and the line so I quit using it from the git go due to these problems. Also the clips would change the rate of fall of the jig due to the added weight. Just my opinion
I started 000 duo lock snaps this winter and have been pleased so far.
I use snap swivels only on my crankbaits for crappie; most everything else is tied directly to the line—even leaders are tied directly to the line.

tried em one time , that was good for me , them are for the not wanting to ketch crappie crew is my thoughts ....just saying
anything between you and a fish ,ESPECIALLY a crappie is not the best idea , sometimes the slightest things make the ketchn of crappie VERY complicated ....
you can tie a loop knot faster than using them things anyway , just saying :Rofl
I use them on my trolling rods. Great way to quickly change leaders or add weight to get deeper. That is the only time I use them though.
