She was a TWO timer !

Some suggest crappie have a brain , I would suggest not so much
Some might even say they are loyal to each other , not so much yet again
Some go so far as to say they have a memory , not very likely , yet again .....
I am of the opinion that giving them attributes like this is pretty silly ....
Case in point .....
A large female white crappie bit my ORANGE jig first drop the other day .....
she had cormorant bite mark on her ....
I released her after a few images ....
about 5 minutes later and 2 boat slips away in slightly deeper water ,she bit the SAME jig again and I ketched her again ! :yikes
I thought at the time , it was different fish and later I was going thru the images I got during that adventure and realized one of the fish had IDENTICAL markings to another and the exact same wound in the same spot ....
right down to the split in it's tail , the SAME stupid fish .....
......REALLY dumb fish for sure , just saying :Rofl

they might bite other colors , white is good , chart as well .....but day in and day out ...this time of year ORANGE is it ....

I caught a crappie with a similar mark, chunked it back in and he hit and got caught before getting back to bottom.
On lake Fork I caught a yearling bass on a point, and 5 minutes later caught the same fish ....he had a sore on him that marked him.

I think orange is her favorite color. She's a slab so she can't be stupid since she's still swimming. Just hungry and didn't get full eating those orange jigs.

You have to unhook and release them before you walk to another dock. :Rofl :cheers2
