Any advice for Brookville?

My Dad and I are looking at making a trip to Brookville in a few weeks to fish 2 1/2 days. We normally go down to KY but looking to stay closer this year and keep the drive to a minimum. I have never been there but it looks like a good option with cabins available at Whitewater. If I knew a place to stay similar to that I would maybe pick Monroe but I don't know of anything. Any tips? Best place to launch? We normally long line but I recently got into the livescope game so we will probably do a little of both and maybe go for Walleye a little.

I follow a sight on FB. "Brookville lake no judgement fishing report" Good info and spelled just like I wrote. You should make a post on the Indiana forum also. Those guys may help. I have never fished Brookville, but it is on my bucket list.

I'm on that also and plan to post there but you never know what you are going to get on facebook. There is also another Brookville one that has more members.

Once upon a time several years ago the Ohio forum had several guys in the Cincinnati area fished Brookville and regularly posted about it.

If you go to Brookville, launch as early as you can..at least daybreak. Sometimes hard to find a spot to park as in s0ringtime, the walleye fishermen are super numerous from all 3 states. I have caught crappie while trolling for walleye. Brookville is a darned good fishery for large and smallmouth bass, walleye, crappie, as well as other species. As it warms and gets summertime,,,then the plesureboaters take the lake over. It can be a real zoo.

People don’t like to post much about fishing Brookville due to the masses that already fish it is my opinion. It is quite crowded but one of the best fishery’s in the State.
