Big girl season

It's my favorite time of year to fish. It is big girl season. Started out right for me. A 3.14lb big girl. 17-1/2" inches long. Scoped out in open water here on Buggs Island and caught on a custom made hair jig. A few quick pictures and she was released. Doesn't get much better than this.

The really cool part is that big girl is swimming around telling others about you!! And some lucky person will get a chance to meet her too. I like that. Think of the smiles and squeals you set in motion sometime in the future.

It is always big girl season in Texas...
