Up here in Washington, if it has water deeper than 3 feet it has crawdads. Every creek, stream, pond, lake and river has them to some extent.
Is it the same in Texas or are they a little harder to find?

I'm beginning to think there aren't any crawdads in Texas. Maybe if I call em crayfish or mudbugs.... lol
There are lots of crawdads in TX. I was on the Colorado river during the spring run, it looked like the entire bottom of the river was moving with crawdads. People were taking 5 gallon buckets out of there.
