Auld Lang Syne St. John’s River

Goodbye 2024 you were interesting! Some good some not but you kept things interesting to say the least.

Big party planned for tomorrow so today was my last trip of the year on the Old St. John’s and it didn’t disappoint.

I trolled the river edges on the 10’ contour line using 1/16 roadrunners as close to the pads as I felt comfortable and 1/8 on the river side; shallow produced more but bigger fish in the deep.

Threw back a ton of dinks, 2 small bass and a catfish.

I feel real positive about 2025 and I’m looking forward to it.
