Got a Buck before the bad storm the other day
Attachment 497565I went 860 miles north for a gun hunt. opening day was Monday. Sat in a swivel chair brushed in a bit. I saw 18 deer that morning less than 130 yards, no shooters.. saw 3 bucks Monday afternoon, again no shooters.. Tuesday morning I had 3 groups of does feed by, some 12 yards away. A group of 5 bucks came by, the biggest only had 1 side, it had 5 points. My buddy sent me a text about a storm coming in Weds with 40mph winds, sleet, snow and ice.. At 1002am this one came out at 75 yards, I saw he was not too wide but I thought he was good enough for me.. We boned out the meat and hit the road the next morning..
