More Tail gunners

For some reason I stopped using these for awhile even though they have been a good producer. Couldn't find any of the old one's so started making some new ones. Past thread I brought out shows how I tied the roller swivel in. Crappie baits in first picture weigh .075-.09 oz. Bunny butt tail gunners are 1/8 and 3/16. Lengths are 2 - 3.25". This time of year is when tier's stock up on their jig boxes. Most have some components to make a few of these to try out. They really work on about everything that you might be fishing for. I tied ton's of these for a guy who sold them at fishing shows and online to the point I got burnt out doing them and retired from tying commercially. I was tying 20 dozen a month in four sizes and colors. It's a great bait when the water is starting to warm up into late fall. White bass and crappie beware, I will have a box full of these in 2025 to throw at them. You should try a few as well.

I tied a few myself and they do work fine. I have to look for mine now, I’ve been throwing stuff that’s less than 1/32 for a while now.
