Went out today to sort out if my Livescope was going to act right. Went out last week and it was giving problems. After calling Garmin I wanted to see if any of the things I did fixed the problem. Long story short it worked for about 45 minutes perfectly, then it started the same glitches. I kept fishing even though it wasn’t working perfectly. I jumped around to about 12 different structures that I’ve placed and did fairly well. These are in 18 to 30 foot of water. Kept 18 crappie and 3 large perch. Now I have to get back with Garmin with what I think is a bad compass on my transducer.Attachment 497151

Sounds like you salvaged the day by putting them in the box. Me and Uncle Remus fished yesterday and caught some on brush but did better on open water schools. Hope you get the scope fixed. I had trouble with the bottom being tilted. Garmin gave me an out of warranty exchange for like 360 dollars. Wouldn’t hurt to ask if you have to replace.

I could turn the AHRS off and bottom would flatten back out and still could fish. I think it is the black box or compass in transducer.

I can’t chase those schools in my pontoon unless they are stationary. Some of my structure was loaded others just a few. You catch 6 or 8 and they would get finicky. I go to the next one with intentions to come back to the loaded ones. I didn’t have to thou. I only fished till 11:30. I didn’t see you and Remus that I know of. I didn’t get above Catawba Creek.

Update on the Livescope. Contacted Garmin again Monday and told them it was still giving problems. They’re going to replace transducer no charge. Shipping mine back and they’ll send new one when they get it. Could have payed a $500.00 deposit and they would ship one first and refund me when they got mine. I chose to send mine first for free.

Do you recall your transducer cable being round of flat ?

It was round Lvs-34. Bought February 2023.
