Variety pack
60 degrees when I woke up yesterday so thought I'd get out before cold front came through. First hour was ok and caught some fish before that first gust hit and felt the temps drop. Slow bite but managed to catch about 15. Couple trout, tiny bass and small crappie with bluegill scattered in the mix. Nothing big but glad to get out before it got to cold. When I got back to the truck temps showed 51 so was a 9 degree drop in two hours. 22 degrees here now. Attachment 497083Attachment 497084Attachment 497085Attachment 497086

Nice mixed bag! Thanks for sharing with us

Nice! I do better if it warms up during the day vs. getting colder.

I like catching a variety. Congrats on getting out .
Weather here is headed downhill Thanksgiving day and afterwards with our first twenty degree lows .
Not looking forward to trying to catch something in the cold .

Any type of fishing is better than working. That still looked like fun!

I like a mixed bag too. Fishing the way I do gets me one of most everything on a lot of trips. Looks like you had fun, and 22* is a bit too brisk for me. Glad you got out in front of the weather.

Jjj, variety is good time of year! We here only see stocked trouts. Good one, thanks!

The trout are stockers here too. Usually stock twice a month from November through February and throw in a few lunker trout to keep it interesting. Saw two of these hooked but resulted in broken lines so they are still in there. Been fishing for these trout over 30 years and only hooked two lunkers, catching one. Lot's of smaller ones to keep it interesting.
