Coming to Wylie this weekend.
Haven't been there in some time.
Can anyone get me a good starting depth for the crappie?
I figure 20 to 25 for this time of year.
Will be dead lining minnows for the most part
Maybe do some drifting.
Any info would be great.

Fished yesterday. Plenty of fish on brush. Didn’t do too good on shallow brush in the 10-12’ range. 14-18 brush was best. Saw some open water schools but not enough to totally focus on them. Uncle Remus gave some a boat ride.

Neil, I haven't been enough to know where my rod and reels are.

We went today. Only managed to catch 15 with 12 being keepers.
Neither of us are brush fisherman but we caught all fish close to brush as we drifted over/past it.
2 spots, 3 perch and 7 crappie.

Going tonight and see if we can get some to bite.
Going to be fishing around the area of the south fork mouth and the island area across from the mouth. Will let y'all know if we catch them.
