Tips for Catching Crappie in Cooler Weather?
Hey everyone,
I am fairly new to crappie fishing and looking for some advice as the weather getting cooler. I usually fish in and I am noticing the crappie seem harder to find now. I have heard they change patterns in fall and winter but I am not sure exactly where to look or what techniques work best as the temperature drops....
Should I be fishing deeper or focusing on certain types of cover? And are there specific baits or lures that work better in colder months. Any tips or personal experiences would be really helpful, especially from those who fish in similar conditions.
I also read this topic on this site https://shopkarls.com/blog/winter-crappie-fishing#:~:text=However%2C%20crappie%20are%20easie r%20to,wintertime-salesforce-admin but I could not find anything helpful for me.
Thanks a lot, and happy fishing
Best,
