suprise!!!!

Went out on the little Maumell just to kill the morning last Saturday. The second stop we made produced a 2 lbs crappie and a couple other smaller ones. I never dreamed I would catch crappie and didn't have any minners. We were fishing for bream in one of Gooch's condos. All of the fish were produced on road runners. That is a first for me too.

The river started running backwards just about then and they shut down. I might drop some milo in that hole later on in the week and see if that will turn them on again.

This report just about sums up the reason I would like more folks to bring condos to the fish and eat gatherings. It sure is nice when you only have a few hours to fish to have the Little Maumelle and its condos as an option.

Reap'n the benifits of labors putting out Crappie Condos. That is great ,they should be full of slabs in the future. Glad you could get out DRPEPPER . Maybe there is still a Nimrod Lake trip in your future? I'm hoping for an early fall and lots of hungry Crappie.:D
