Now that the temps are starting to get down from a steady dose of mid 90s, i think we will be hearing about more fishing activity.
That is if we dont get blown or washed away by all of the hurricane activity out there.
I personally havent fished since April 7th.
Reason being the lake i prefer had grown lots of weeds, to the point that it wasent possible to launch a boat.
But i have been able to convince St. Johns to spray several times thru the summer.
So now its back to pretty much normal.
Following because I will down on St John’s in early Feb!

Fished Monroe twice last week. 6 keepers one day, none the next. There have been a ton of wrapped crappie boats around for the past 2-3 weeks. I guess there was a big tournament this past weekend on Monroe. I’m sure they did a beat down on Monroe and the river. It’ll take awhile for it to recover from that. The boats are all gone now.
How is Ed ?i haven`t seen hem on site Hoping he is ok .
