I just purchased a Garmin live scope 34. I also purchased a beat down outdoors breakaway mount. Mount for the pole from Garmin seems like it has an angle on it where the transducer don’t set the street up and down it says in an angle it said that’s the one to use if you’re going to use a pole. is anyone else experienced? This? Should my transducer be straight up and down or should it always be in a little bit of an angle. Does that really matter?

I believe that's an 8 degree mount. You can get a 0 degree mount also. Really doesn't matter.
You'll want a 0 degree mount with your transducer pole. The 8 degree mount is for mounting to the trolling motor shaft. You need the angle so the transducer beam does not hit the motor housing.

Thanks everyone I ordered a zero mail for my pole. It seems like paying $1700 for live scope they would at least put in a 0° mount along with the 8° mount. I guess they want to get you for another $27.
