High Rock Water Conditions
With about 6.5 inches of rain at my house in Crane Creek and all the rain upstream the lake conditions are as you might imagine. Main channel swift and muddy with debris. Most creeks are stained but very, very fishable and they are biting. Remember darker colors with emphasis on oranges and reds. The lake will be the same for everyone so come on out tomorrow morning and fish with us. These conditions will actually even the field a little in my opinion. With a start time of 7am you will be able to see and navigate to your favorite spot. Lots of people seem to shy away from less than perfect conditions but it’s been my experience I do better when water is heavy stained to muddy. Don’t let what you are thinking keep you from experiencing a whole new concept that you haven’t ever tried. This is for fun and learning with low entry fees and short hours. All our Wednesdays and now Saturday tournaments have created a new and positive crappie fishing community with lots of room for growth. Hope to see you in the morning at 6am at Bringles Ferry Wildlife Access.
