Cloudy day fishing

Got out for a rare trip with my son. Perfect weather, cloudy and cool with a breeze. Fished a small lake and fish were active and biting for me. He was using bass gear while I was using the ultralight. I caught a decent redear on first cast while he went through my tackle bag trying to find something that would interest the bass. Only thing bass were interested in were the bluegill I was reeling in. Had three bass hooked that grabbed my gills and landed one. My son got pics of the bass jumping which was really cool, didn't even know he was taking pictures. Even caught three channels on my little jigs besides everything else. Good trip with your son. I’ll be fishing with my girls tomorrow so look for my post.

He doesn't get out with me very often since he works and has a young son but the forecast had him calling me asking where do you want to go since he had the day off. He got some great pictures of that bass jumping, my favorite action shots.
