My last few visits to the water on my lunch breaks have been on the clear fork of the trinity river.
Yesterday I decided to give the west fork of the trinity river a go on my lunch break.
The fish there were extra deep and in nowhere near the numbers I encountered at the other fork on the mighty trinity.
But get this part , got me a grand slam by golly , not a bad day , a 1 or 2 of each kinda thing keeps me interested .
without further ado, here is an image of such event.
fish were definitively deep in that less than 7 foot under a float , not a peck.
some laid the float down and some took it down . needed movement for sure as well .
had the same jig from the other day on and the same float.
there was a big cruiser kitty kat I saw go by twice , tried to ketch it for the fun of it ....no dice.
turtles were hard on a fresh fish floating that somebody or something expired ....
think it was a bass , not totally sure.
not sure where to go next , been dodging a boat ride a bit , likely gunna go hit em in it soon on the open water somehwere near ft worth ....
sure was warm in that there shade under that bridge , at 103 and low to no breeze it gets really not fun pretty quickly , unless you are the type that takes showers with your clothes still on ....
one thing for positive certain ......
if you like my posts that's cool and if not that's cool as well , and some folks may not love me and some do ....but ....
my street dog loves me unconditionally and she cannot wait to sit beside my leg and lick my hand , so just keep in mind this about that, in a world of love me and love me not ....
she is for sure the love me winner .....just saying :highfive
truly man's best friend for the win :cheers2
