The kid wanted shrimp and hush puppies

I wanted a few of the crappie I filleted from yesterdays KABOOM
so out came some shake and bake ready to go pups and shrimp from the freezer and they met up on a big cookie sheet with said we breaded up fresh crappie filets and got all baked up nice and crispy at the same time ...... :cheers2
my crappie fell into some tortillas with all the fixings (cept shredded cheese) silly me got all anxious looking at them and ate them before I realized I forgot the cheese .....:Rofl
darn it right ......:yikes

p.s. that is homemade ranch on them nice crispy filets , not sour cream , just an fyi ...

What shake n bake are you using?

Going to be crappie taco here today but my fillets are going for their last swim in hot oil.

the fish mix was Louisiana fish fry mix with added garlic powder and panko bread crumbs this go ....
the shrimp and pups came ready to go ....

Bud, My Crappie Tacos today had Hot spicy pimento cheese spread on the my soft tortillas before heating them up on a iron pan, really made for a fantastic combination.
