I guess my question is going to be somewhat pointless.......

I fished Perry a lot in the past but only in the winter time. What the heck do you do to catch them this time of year. Can I still find fish around the bridges and brushpiles and or structure in 10 to 20 fow on the main lake. I really only went to tow boat ramps. Slough Creek and Rock Creek and always stayed between the bridges. Do I need to venture under the bridges?

I've found fishing the bridges can be very effective in the hot days of summer. There are many time where crappie will only be on one side of the bridge. Or, around specific pillars. It's also good to get a break from the Kansas sun

Another thought, Return to Slough Creek. Follow the old creek channel, on the North side. Look for a "bend" in the channel. Try the high spot, in the bend, right next to the channel. The "bend" does not need to be a full curve. any corner or curve will do
