I caught 2 pulling crank baits in the deeper river channel in The Rez on 7/4 until the holiday boat traffic got bad at 11 am. One of the locals who lives near The Rez posted on Facebook that he caught some at Big Lake today; I didn’t go today because I took the kids and their cousins to watch a movie.

Friday morning. Me 2-crappie, Brother 7- 2 bass, 5 crappie, then it was too warm for us and the bite faded to nothing. All but one crappie were 11 to 12 inch. Under a dock. He was tickled I finally got him on some crappie.
Saturday Me one, Brother 0 :). Got warm quick and we had work planned. Still a treat to fish two mornings in a row.

Didn't know if I should start a new thread since this is one week one but I'll post it here. Nothing to brag about, but I had 7 keepers this past Saturday and 4 keepers yesterday at Grenada. Met a gentleman yesterday at the ramp coming in and gave me his only keeper livescoping because he didn't want to clean 1 fish. I wish I could meet more people like him. :biggrin
