This is a picture of one of my trolling racks I use to long line with. I have issues with this one loosening up when I get one on. How can i lock it down so it will stay tight?

If you can access it from underneath I would us a nut/bolt/washer. Or is it the stem that loosens?
If it’s the stem you could consider RED 272 thread locker.
If it's the stem, put a lock washer on it and double nut it.
It’s the stem that gets loose. I will try that lock washer!!! That’s something different that I haven’t tried!

Put a self locking nut on. One with the plastic insert to keep it from backing off.
I’d use blue loctite if using loctite instead of red since you can still adjust it with hand tools whereas red normally requires heat to loosen it up before you can make adjustments. Double nuts or locking nut with nylon inserts are also good options.
