The Rez 6/25/2024 (crankbaits)

I got about an hour in until I had to leave the water around 9 am to take care of personal matters. I still had 2 crappie and 3 catfish; my son lost two other crappie from mishandling. Surface temp was about 86-degrees F when I got to my spot, but sonar still showed plenty of fish. I’m hoping to try again on Thursday; this trip already beats my record of productive fishing trips during the July shutdown at work.Attachment 489622

Time in the saddle will improve you catch pulling cranks. I had 28 when I left Sunday morning 1-1/4lb average weight. 1 16in & 1 17in Hammer on shiners 6ft deep in 30+ft of water. I had to work for them the first couple of days using jigs.
